Citi to Issue Private Label Business Credit Cards for OfficeMax
November 16, 2012
Credit
OfficeMax announced this week that the retailer will be offering small businesses customers a private label credit card issued by Citi Retail Services.
From the press release:
Card members are automatically enrolled in the OfficeMax MaxPerks® Rewards program, allowing them to earn $25 in MaxPerks Rewards for every $500 spent on qualified purchases. The card also offers benefits including no annual fee, a dedicated line of credit for office supplies and services, detailed tracking services on purchases and online account management. Additionally, business credit cardholders will have opportunities to take advantage of periodic special extended financing and other promotions.
Private label credit issuance for small businesses is limited to a small number of retailers, most of them office supply stores. The Office Depot, Sam’s Club, WalMart, Staples, Lowe’s and The Home Depot also offer private label credit to small businesses.
