Israeli Startup Provides Secure In-App Payment System

ZooZ is launching a mobile web software development kit (SDK) that enables creators to accept payments from users. The Israel-based startup had already been working with Android and iPhone in-app payments, but the recent announcement includes HTML5.

The startup’s solution can process payments for virtual as well as physical goods — a nice amenity if you’re building a fashion or shopping app, for example — and all without a merchant code or payment gateway. The ZooZ SDK also supports a range of currencies and languages from around 150 countries.

ZooZ can accept payments from a number of credit card companies (not just the big four) as well as PayPal. When a consumer makes a payment, the funds are transferred directly into the developer’s bank account, PayPal account, or to a prepaid MasterCard.
