American Express plans to ends its deals and offers program for its Serve wallet by mid-August, the company says.

“We evaluated customer feedback from the Deals and Offers pilot and have decided to test new services to better meet our customers’ needs,” says Charlotte Fuller, a spokeswoman for Amex. “We will honor all active deals or offers until the end of their redemption periods.”
The company is asking customers to print their vouchers to make sure that they can use them. The move demonstrates how mobile wallet providers are still working to calibrate what features and functions best meet customer needs.
