Powered by Ingenico, the rangeincludes the iWB Bio 220 and iWB Bio 250 PoS terminals. The iWB Bio series enablespayments by validating a user’s fingerprint in order to process a transactionand is an ideal solution for merchants and businesses exploring and acceptingAEPS through terminals. The iWB Bio Series comes along with an inbuiltfingerprint scanner thus eliminating the need of an external fingerprintscanner. It uses the IP65 optical sensor and best in class biometric algorithmsby Morpho and is known to match fingerprints in seconds.
The iWB Bio series can connect to a datanetwork via GPRS, Ethernet or the Dual Sim Slot available. It uses the unique4-Factor-Authentication where in it combines Chip, Pin, fingerprintverification and GPS tracking thus making it one of the most secure modes oftransaction simultaneously building an efficient fraud management system. Additionally,the iWB Bio series offers all transaction options rangingfrom traditional Magstripe, EMV chip & PIN and also the latest contactlessand NFC technology cards.
