Samsung Pay is off to a good start as it rolled out in South Korea this week as reported in ITPro:
Reports indicate that more than 80,000 credit and debit cards have been registered with the mobile payments service since it was made available on 20 August.
When Apple Pay launched it achieve over a million registration sin half the time, but we are comparing very different markets. Samsung Pay is announced to launch on September 28, 2015 in the U.S., unless of course all the rumors about Android Pay potentially launching this week drive an earlier start date for Samsung.
