HUNTINGTON BANK APPOINTS STEVE RHODES TO LEAD TREASURY MANAGEMENT

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Huntington Bank today appointed Steve Rhodes director of treasury management. Reporting to Director of Commercial Banking Rick Remiker, Rhodes will oversee an award-winning organization of sales, service and product management professionals delivering a comprehensive array of payables, receivables and liquidity management solutions that help businesses excel.

“Steve is a proven leader who’s consistently shaped strong customer-focused performance across Huntington,” said Remiker. “His experience aligning organizations and instilling passionate execution under a shared vision makes him the ideal person to lead the continued innovation of our treasury capabilities. With our anticipated growth, he’ll play a critical role in helping business customers reach new heights in managing their working capital with ease.”

An industry veteran, Rhodes has 29 years of banking experience in key national, regional and market leadership positions in business, retail and commercial banking.

Rhodes joined Huntington as director of business banking in 2010 and most recently served as director of retail sales, service and operations, leading a centralized team optimizing the performance of 750 traditional and in-store branches across Huntington’s six-state footprint. In that capacity, Rhodes played a critical role contributing to the overall development of Huntington’s 2020 Strategic Plan.

Rhodes earned his MBA from The Ohio State University and bachelor’s degree in finance from Bowling Green State University. He and his family reside in Dublin, Ohio.
