OnFrontiers contracts Hyperwallet for earnings distribution in emerging economies.

San Francisco, California – Hyperwallet, a leading global outbound payments provider to the new economy, announced today that it has signed a deal with OnFrontiers, a global Expert research platform. Hyperwallet will distribute payments to OnFrontiers’ growing network of independently-contracted Experts, addressing the many challenges that come with paying a globally-dispersed freelancer network.

OnFrontiers was founded in 2014 and is headquartered in New York. The platform connects clients seeking specific knowledge in emerging markets (e.g., South America, Asia, and Sub-Saharan Africa) with Experts that have relevant experience in the region. Clients submit requests over the platform (onfrontiers.com) with details on their research topic, which OnFrontiers uses to compile a shortlist of suitable Experts. Once the client has chosen their preferred Expert, OnFrontiers connects the two parties, typically over an initial phone consultation. The entire process can take as little as 24 hours.

OnFrontiers serves a diverse set of clients, including major media outlets, multinationals, management consulting firms, investment funds, and government agencies.
“Distributing earnings in emerging economies, where many of our Experts are located, is no small task,” said Brian Caouette, Co-Founder & Managing Director. “Aside from the typical difficulties that pervade international payments, these countries might have limited financial infrastructure, or unique regulatory environments. Hyperwallet alleviates those difficulties by offering our Experts a diverse range of global payout options and by easing the administrative burden that comes with paying in a range of geographies.”

“OnFrontiers is representative of a broader trend we’re seeing in this new, global economy,” said Brent Warrington, Hyperwallet’s CEO. “Platforms like OnFrontiers are connecting uniquely skilled individuals all over the world with clients who have very specific requirements. This connectivity provides the individual with a new earning opportunity and ensures that the client has access to the absolute best person for the job, providing both parties with increased value. We’re confident that this is the future of work.”
