Summer Release Offers Additional Customer-Driven Features to Enhance the Industry-Leading Procurement Platform

STAMFORD, CT. – Aug. 2, 2016 – Basware, the global leader in networked purchase-to-pay, e-invoicing and innovative finance solutions, announced today the summer release of its cloud eProcurement solution suite, from recently acquired Verian. The new version, which was developed based on customer feedback, incorporates advanced features and functionality to provide greater collaboration, efficiency and time savings as well as convenience for mobile users.

“Our customers are continuously working to empower their staff with a self-managing system that automates key tasks and delivers greater efficiency and improved cash flow,” said Tehseen Dahya, general manager, North America, Basware. “The new release of the Verian eProcurement solution suite helps organizations further these goals by enabling end-users, procurement teams and accounts payable staff to more easily and efficiently work together as they create and process orders for goods and services regardless of their location. It also enables organizations to achieve greater accuracy and productivity in their purchasing and finance operations and ultimately cut costs through increased visibility into spend.”

The new solution suite empowers users to more fully communicate with each other and engage in the buying process. New features built into the requesting process enable users to save time, while upgraded strategic sourcing capabilities expedite the sourcing process. Additionally, continued advancements in the mobile application provide more convenience for remote activities.

In addition to the ability to easily make requisition modifications during approval, some of the solutions’ expanded capabilities include: receiver and buyer enhancements for greater efficiency and ease-of-use, one-click capabilities extended to email approvals, account coding enhancements and mobile application enhancements, including the ability to approve expense reports remotely.
