Fueling its growing U.S. footprint,Payworks enables ISVs to integrate EMV technology through partnership with 360Payments

October 25, 2016, Las Vegas – Payworks, a global payment gateway and EMVtechnology platform with integrated POS solutions, today announced its first U.S.independent software vendor (ISV) channel partner, 360 Payment Solutions, Inc.,a provider of payment processing solutions for small and mid-sized businesses. Onthe heels of expanding to the United States, this partnership positionsPayworks as the first and only U.S.-based company to offer processingcapabilities to the United States, Canada and all European countries with asingle software integration. The roll out is slated to begin immediately.

“The United Stateshas been a natural point of expansion for Payworks given the increasingproliferation of mobile and tablet POS solutions in this market against thebackdrop of unmet EMV needs,” said Jordan McKee, Senior Analyst, 451 Research.“Payworks’ gateway platform is designed to address these market demands with anapparent focus on ease-of-implementation and flexibility in deployment –scratching noticeable itches for both merchants and their payment providers.”

360 Paymentswill use Payworks’ technology and offer the increasing number of growing globalISVs access to new payment technology coupled with EMV readers. With the Payworksgateway and developer-centric offer, 360 Payments will immediately be able towork with Android, iOS and Windows-based applications developed by ISVs for anynumber of merchant verticals. The partnership enables light-speedintegration, empowers applications with a card reader and takes merchants andISVs out of the PCI scope, increasing security.

“Today is a very exciting dayfor the U.S. team at Payworks and 360 Payments. With Payworks’ United Statesexpansion well underway, we are leveraging our track record of partnering with best-in-classpayment processing companies to enable partners to expand their businessthrough our technology,” said Christian Deger, Co-Founder and CEO, Payworks. “Payworks’global infrastructure enables 360 Payments to offer ISVs and their merchants anEMV-based solution. We’re bullish on the opportunities for Payworks to continueto expand and fuel growth as we build out our U.S. footprint through strategicpartnerships like this.”

Until recently, credit cardpayments at the point of sale have been processed on outdated infrastructure, leading to high cost for merchants, security problems and very littleflexibility. Payworks provides the technology to modernize point of saleapplications, competing with incumbent heavyweights of the retail paymentindustry.

“We’re constantly looking forways to evolve our offerings to our merchants and ISV partners, and speed uptheir integration processes,” said Stephen Ciabattoni, Co-CEO of 360 Payments.“We chose Payworks as our partner given their global infrastructure and trackrecord of simplifying the payments process for ISVs and their merchant base. Byworking with Payworks, we become processor agnostic and are positioned to fulfillISVs’ diverse needs and provide a world-class solution of efficient, securepayment processing.”
