FIME to Deliver PURE Testing Services

Terminal, cardand cloud-based application vendors can now work with FIME to achieve PUREproduct certification

May15, 2017 – FIME today announces that it has been approved byPayCert to perform a full spectrum of testing services in line with PUREspecification. The latest approval enables terminal, card and cloud-basedapplication vendors to ensure the interoperability, functionality and securityof their PURE solutions quickly and efficiently. FIME has already successfullycompleted the evaluation of the first PURE terminal product and the firstCertification Letter has been issued by PayCert.

PUREis an EMV®* compliantwhite-label payment specification and is utilized by various international anddomestic payment schemes globally. The certification process is managed byPayCert, the European certification body for electronic payment products.

“The interoperabilityand flexibility of PURE reduces complexity when entering various markets acrossthe globe,” comments Vincent Poty, Vice President, Test & Certification atFIME. “On top of this, our laboratory services, technical support and testtools are enabling vendors to get ahead of the competition by acceleratingproduct development.”

The FIME laboratorieswill use their qualified test tools, EVAL for terminals, and Global for cards andcloud-based applications, to perform debugging and formal certificationtesting. These tools are also available to purchase for in-housepre-certification testing to help identify issues in advance and prevent delayslater in the process.
