Payment Network Visa’s, corporate banking digitalization

My Imaginary Payment Network Is 1,000 Times Faster Than Visa’s

Utah-based Galileo Processing is a prepaid card processing specialist with over 1,000 prepaid programs running on its processing platform. The firm has built a platform that lets prepaid issuing banks and program managers operate a private, dedicated, cloud-based processing platform. The client can build applications and other features on top of the Galileo services stack that is unique to that client. That means each client’s work is isolated from all other clients operating in the Galileo cloud.

While card processing is at the heart of its value proposition, Galileo recognizes that there is huge value to the issuer and program manager in the information around the payment (i.e. when the payment was made, where it was made, for what kind of item, etc.). The firm is building out its analytics capabilities so that program managers have even greater ability to tune their programs’ features.

With Galileo Cloud Processing, each client has a dedicated virtual environment that is not shared with any other client. Importantly, this means that clients can preserve their intellectual property and program innovation while not being affected by changes to other clients’ environments. Clients are now empowered to have control over the timing of when new features and functionality are released into their environment. Leveraging Galileo’s extensive library of APIs, clients can develop their own applications and unique functionality in support of their card programs. Using Galileo Analytics, clients are able to generate detailed reporting and view their virtual environment’s capacity and usage.
