European Association for Biometrics (EAB) to Address the Rapid Development of Biometrics for Mobile Authentication and Online Services

On Friday 17 November 2017 EAB will organise the seminar Biometrics in Banking and Payments hosted by the prestigious IBM Client Centre in London, UK.

The seminar will reflect the trends and opportunities of biometrics in the financial market. Main topics tobe covered are:
– PSD2: the need for user friendly and secure biometric authentication
– Current solutions, take up, customer satisfaction and benefits
– How to select the right biometric authentication solution
– Biometric cards and how they can help banks

It will be discussed how processes can be designed both convenient and privacy compliant. Financial
institutions get free entrance (lunch included).

The seminar presents a line-up of excellent international speakers, ranging from end user to experts who will bring you up to date with the state of the art in biometric technology advances. They will share their experiences, covering aspects such as process flows, added value, fraud reduction, implementation strategy and client experience. A mini-workshop at the at the end of the seminar ensures an interactive session with the participants by discussing hands-on experiences and best practices.

Biometrics in Banking and payments will reflect the many new opportunities arising from the gradual shift away from desktop/notebook computing towards smartphones, tablets and other portable devices, while sharing best practice of apps and web-based applications, including digital onboarding.
