PayPal and Cryptocurrencies: Why?

PayPal and Cryptocurrencies: Why?

Tabbedout has released a Software Development Kit to enable restaurants and bars the option to integrate the Tabbedout mobile payments solution directly into their own mobile application. The SDK supports both iOS and Android platforms, and, because Tabbedout integrates directly with some of the largest point-of-sale system solutions (e.g. MICROS), merchants do not need to invest in additional hardware to support the payment solution.

From Tabbedout’s press release:

“We have been providing mobile payments to bars and restaurants since 2010, so it was a natural progression that we would offer an SDK to give restaurant chains a quick and easy—yet secure and robust—way to integrate mobile payment into their own branded apps,” said Kevin McKeand, vice president of major accounts for Tabbedout. “As more consumers use smartphones, they are demanding mobile payment and quick time to market is essential. Our SDK makes that time to market almost immediate.”

Tabbedout is offering support services to assist with integration and implementation. The SDK includes a sample application, which can be manipulated by the merchant intending to integrate the system into his own solution.
