Third Annual CPPO Prepaid Symposium Adds International Speakers and New Workshops

The Canadian Prepaid Providers Organization (CPPO), the voice of the rapidly growing prepaid payments industry in Canada, has announced new speakers for the third annual CPPO Prepaid Symposium on May 13, 2019, at the Toronto Region Board of Trade. The CPPO Prepaid Symposium is the premier education and networking event for the $3.8 billion prepaid industry in Canada. The event will immediately precede The Payments Canada Summit held between May 14-16 in Toronto.

The keynote address by Jim Marous, co-publisher of The Financial Brand and owner and publisher of the Digital Banking Report, explores disruption in the financial industry, what we can learn from other industries about innovation and product delivery and how to be prepared for the future of banking. A keynote presentation will follow by Kelley Knutson, president of Netspend, about the evolution of prepaid into a suite of competitive digital banking services. New, international speakers have recently been added to the panel discussions. In addition, two workshops will give attendees the chance to learn more about how merging payments with investments can work in the Canadian market and get the latest updates on Canada’s regulatory framework.
