First to support international card manufacturers & personalization bureaus with formal UnionPay certification.
FIME today announces that its French and Taiwanese test laboratories have become the first international centers to be accredited by UnionPay to perform card manufacturer certification testing. Global card manufacturers and personalization bureaus can now work with FIME to become an ‘authorized’ UnionPay vendor, enabling them to supply UnionPay’s global network of over 200 issuing banks.
FIME’s certification services cover four areas: IC card embedding, IC card personalization, magnetic stripe card personalization and card manufacturing. Vendors wishing to work with UnionPay issuers must achieve one or more of these certifications.
