Kount, a leading innovator of solutions for fraud and risk management, today announced the integration of the latest version of BehavioSec’s behavioral biometrics technology BehavioSense™ into Kount’s comprehensive fraud management products, Kount Complete™ and Kount Access™.

Available immediately, Kount’s customers, which include banks, payment service providers, mobile apps, merchants, and digital businesses, can use the latest version of BehavioSense to authenticate users based on their online behaviors and interactions. The ability to authenticate user identities addresses the more than 40 percent of global login attempts that are driven from malicious bots, according to a recent report from Akamai. BehavioSense’s passive behavioral biometrics verify a user’s identity by monitoring how they naturally interact with their device through keystroke dynamics, touch and mouse motion, and other behaviors. BehavioSense complements Kount’s broader fraud detection platform and technologies, mitigates identify fraud (i.e. account takeover), and allows customers instant identity verification without impacting the user experience.

“As fraud continues to evolve, fraud prevention requires a multi-layered approach that incorporates a variety of technologies,” said Rich Stuppy, COO, Kount. “BehavioSense’s passive behavioral biometrics extend Kount’s overall solution and offer additional capabilities in bot detection and known user verification. Introducing passive biometrics as a fraud deterrent aligns with the industry’s movement to provide certainty in every digital interaction.”

Seamless to the merchant and retailer, BehavioSense’s aggregated analysis is fed directly within Kount’s customer-facing dashboard and decision engine. BehavioSense categorizes information pertaining to the user as well as confidence of the transaction. Kount consolidates BehavioSense’s information and presents the fraud manager with a simple mechanism to stop bots and allow known users a frictionless experience.

Kount’s integration with BehavioSec was highlighted yesterday at its annual user conference, Kount Summit 2018. Kount customers can contact their customer service representative to learn more information regarding BehavioSense or visit Kount’s website at http://www.kount.com.
