BEAVERTON, OR – December 12 2017 – Nvoicepay, the leader in payment automation software for the enterprise, today announced the appointment of veteran financial and executive-level business partner, John Ewert as Chief Financial Officer.

Ewert brings to Nvoicepay more than 20 years of management and executive experience in leading finance teams and business partnering in technology firms.  Most recently, he was part of the senior team at Elemental Technologies, leading their rapid growth as CFO and COO while adding significant enterprise value in partnership with the CEO, Head of Worldwide Sales, and other executives. Elemental Technologies was acquired by Amazon in 2015 and became part of Amazon’s Web Services unit. Prior to Elemental Technologies he was part of the executive team that scaled Palo Alto Networks through its initial and secondary public offerings.

“John has a strong history of being a financial leader in business operations of fast growing and successful enterprises,” said Karla Friede, CEO of Nvoicepay. “We’re excited to bring his expertise to the table as we take Nvoicepay to the next level and solidify the company as the leader in the B2B payments space.”

Ewert has also served in various management positions with large enterprise firms including Oracle Corporation, Sun Microsystems, and PwC. He spent time in the U.S. military and earned his Certified Public Accounting certification and Master of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Corporate Finance and Strategy from the University of California, Berkeley. He is currently serving on the Executive Committee as Treasurer for the United Way of the Columbia-Willamette, focused on creating a future where kids in our region are free from instability and worry so they can be free to play and discover, free to learn and grow.

“I am excited to join Nvoicepay’s leadership team,” Ewert said. “Nvoicepay’s team of payment experts are on the forefront of financial technology transforming the traditional accounts payable function into a simple, secure, and automated process for businesses.”
