Several transaction variations attempted in an informal test by Mercator Advisory Group analysts reveal that Zelle can provide an excellent user experience for consumers to quickly and safely transfer funds. Unfortunately, that doesn’t happen every time. Intense competitive pressures may have caused a premature product launch. Only time will tell if users are willing to forgive and forget some initial imperfections or will revert to using the many other mature market options.
