Coming out of a soft launch period, the Zync Card is now enjoying highly visible media advertising. Aimed at building relationships with younger card members in their 20s and 30s, the card is positioned as a platform for the selection of reward packs of greatest interest to the individual. The card is also well positioned for consumers concerned about avoiding outstanding debt, while at the same time building their personal credit history.
According to the company’s representatives, the Zync from American Express helps consumers improve their credit score, allows them to stay out debt as they have to pay off their balance in full every month and prevents them from having to pay any interest. However, if the cardholder makes a late payment, he will be charged with $35 or 2.99 percent of the balance.
