Assaf co-founded Riskified after spending 15 years designing and implementing systems that combined advanced algorithmic back-end with high-performance user interface. He has extensive experience in building systems that use machine-learning and innovative algorithms to solve complex problems.

As CTO of Riskified, Assaf leads a team of over 140, comprising data scientists, product managers, software engineers and analysts. Under the leadership of Assaf and his cofounder, Riskified has more than doubled its revenue in each of the last five years and increased in size from two founders in 2013 to over 400 employees across offices in New York and Tel Aviv.
