Manus Mentors Credit Union ProfessionalsAround the World

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, California, April 17, 2017 – CO-OPFinancial Services Chief Product and Strategy Officer Shazia Manus was honoredwith the Confidence Award during the Inspiring Women of Iowa event on April 5 in DesMoines. Manus had been named one of three finalists for the Confidence Award inMarch. Sponsored by the GirlScouts of Greater Iowa, the annual event celebrates inspiring and influentialwomen from around the state. The Confidence Award recognizes women with positivestates of mind that guide their actions.

Manus is theformer CEO of Des Moines-based TMG, acquired by CO-OP earlier this month. Sheis a long-time advocate for more women in executive roles and has establishedherself as an innovative thinker and visionary leader in both the credit unionand payments industries. Manus serves on the World Council of Credit Unions’Global Women’s Leadership Network, mentoring several aspiring women and readilysharing her story to inspire others.
