Supports international terminal manufacturers & kernel developers with test tool and certification services

May 17, 2016 – FIME today confirms that its test laboratories in France and Taiwan have received CUP QuickPass accreditation; the first to do so outside of mainland China. Additionally, its EVAL test tool is the first available on the market to be qualified by UnionPay to perform payment terminal certification. Terminal manufacturers and kernel developers globally can now work with FIME to achieve swift and efficient product certifications, in line with the UnionPay QuickPass Specifications.

The EVAL test tool, which is used by FIME’s laboratories during UnionPay product certification, is also available to support product development. This ensures a smooth formal approval process, avoiding the costly and time-consuming delays that can occur when an error is identified at this final stage.

“We look forward to supporting UnionPay’s rapid expansion by increasing global testing and approval capacity,” adds Jason Lai, Business Developer – Asia Pacific at FIME. “We’re now in prime position to support international vendors entering the Chinese market and Chinese manufacturers looking to go global. Our strong relationship with UnionPay has enabled us to be the first to qualify our tool and be the first laboratory outside China. We look forward to strengthening this partnership further.”

This accreditation, combined with the rest of FIME offering, allows vendors to achieve all of the certifications they need with one testing partner, saving them time and money.

FIME’s consultancy services, EVAL test tool and laboratory services offer terminal manufacturers a complete certification portfolio, supporting them in achieving compliance to a comprehensive list of international and domestic payment schemes.
