Isis is the NFC-based mobile payments joint venture formed by AT&T Mobility, T-Mobile USA and Verizon Wireless.
When the Isis digital wallet launches, users will be able to make NFC payments linked to Chase, American Express and Capital One cards.
Bloomberg reported earleir this week that Isis plans to go live in Salt Lake City and Austin next month, citing Verifone CEO Doug Bergeron. Verifone is the largest manufacturer of point-of-sale terminals in the U.S.

“Laurel Cifala, a spokeswoman for the Isis venture, declined to elaborate on the service’s rollout beyond saying it would be this summer, which officially ends Sept. 21.”
