Mercator Advisory Group adds IT industry analyst to provide coverage of emerging technologies in the payments field
Boston, MA – January 20, 2016 – Mercator Advisory Group is pleased to announce the addition of Joseph Walent to its team as the lead analyst for the company’s Emerging Technologies Advisory Service.
Joe will leverage his past experience in the financial sector and covering information technology services industry to bring fresh insight on innovations under way in the payments sector. Joe will focus primarily on the uptake and integration of new and repurposed technologies by established and upstart players in the payments sphere. He will be closely following, and delivering analysis regarding, the adoption and advancement of solutions to address the regulatory and market requirements across the payments ecosystem.

Joe’s broad experience provides him with a unique perspective on industry trends and will helps to deliver actionable insight for Mercator Advisory Group clients.
Joe holds an M.B.A. from Southern New Hampshire University and a B.A. from Colgate University.
