As a member of the council, Fisher will help select members of the board of directors of ACA International, and will continue to advise the organization on payment industry best standards and practices.
(Los Angeles, CA) July 11, 2016—Payscout, Inc., one of the nation’s fastest-growing global payment processing providers, (www.payscout.com/) has announced Fran Fisher’s appointment to the ACA International Council of Delegates. Fisher serves as the Strategic Sales and Business Development Manager-ARM for Payscout’s subsidiary company APS (Powered by Payscout).
Fisher’s appointment came shortly before the ACA’s 2016 Annual Convention and Expo on June 16, where she co-delivered a speech with The Sessions Firm on the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau’s vendor management regulations.
“APS has been an ACA affiliate since 2006,” said Fisher. “My appointment to the Council of Delegates further strengthens this close and longstanding relationship.”
The ACA Council of Delegates is primarily responsible for electing the Board of Directors, which governs the property, affairs, activities, and concerns of the organization.
ACA International, headquartered in Minneapolis, is widely recognized as the leading knowledge resource for the credit and accounts receivable management (ARM) industry. The organization brings together third-party agencies, law firms, asset buying companies, creditors, and vendor affiliates, representing more than 230,000 industry employees. ACA establishes ethical standards, produces a wide variety of products, services and publications, and articulates the value of the credit and collection industry to businesses, policymakers and consumers.
In the course of her own reputable career as an ARM industry professional and her association with ACA, Fisher has historically provided ACA members with suggestions and guidance on payment industry best standards and practices. She will continue to serve in this role as a member of the Council of Delegates. In March, Fisher spoke at the ACA Washington Insights Conference, delivering a two-minute, targeted address as part of an event designed to bring legislators in contact with ARM leaders. The Washington Insights Conference was sponsored by Payscout under its APS division.
The Payscout acquisition of APS in October 2015 brought together two well-respected payment services providers in the ARM vertical. APS now enjoys new resources to manage current and upcoming projects across the ARM Industry, and Payscout has increased its ability to provide quality payment solutions that encompass all merchant risk verticals for its growing clientele.
“We are delighted at this recognition of Fran’s knowledge and abilities,” said Payscout CEO Cleveland Brown. “Likewise, Payscout is honored to facilitate the ACA Council of Delegates in helping to establish better industry best practices that will ultimately enable more entrepreneurs to realize their dreams.”
