Saxo Payments Banking Circle recognised as among the best payments innovations of the year
London – 4th February 2016 – Saxo Payments Banking Circle is shortlisted for the Payments Innovation of the Year category at this year’s FStech Awards. Saxo Payments Banking Circle provides a seamless conduit for transfers in a wide range of currencies and across borders. With this product, Saxo Payments is giving the burgeoning FinTech sector a genuine alternative to the status quo in making and receiving international payments and this nomination reflects that level of innovation.

Anders la Cour, Chief Executive Officer for Saxo Payments, says: “The Banking Circle is our web-based banking platform, which is really shaking up the current landscape for businesses trading on a global scale and I believe this award shortlisting recognises how we are complementing traditional banking services. Crucially, Banking Circle members can make and receive cross border transfers in seconds, rather than days, without the need for establishing multiple banking relationships.

“We are proud to be shortlisted for this award, which highlights the very best of the industry and Saxo Payments is delighted to be among them.”

Now in their 16th year, the FStech Awards recognise excellence and innovation in the field of information technology within the UK and EMEA financial services sector. Winning entries will come from financial services institutions and technology suppliers who are leading the way in such areas as social media, customer service, compliance, mobile, online, systems integration, outsourcing and data governance.

The awards are independently judged and the winners will be announced at the FStech Awards Gala Dinner & Ceremony on 17 March 2016 at the London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square.
