TSYS released official news today that the first phase of functionalenhancements to TSYS CentreSuite® has been completed.

The focus of the first step of a “multi-stage transformation” toCentreSuite is a redesign of the Statement Module. According to Paul Bridgewater, group executive of Global Product, “TSYSis enhancing its approach to digital engagement, and our investment inCentreSuite will greatly enrich the experience of card program administratorsand their account holders”.

In addition to the completion of the StatementModule redesign, TSYS reiterated its commitment to future enhancements todesign, mobility and management tools for program administrators andcardholders.

This announcement comes on the heels of April’sannouncement of Oversight Insights On Demand – powered by TSYS, which is a partnershipbetween the company and Oversight Systems, providing greater spend visibility, program controls and compliance monitoring to program administrators.

“These enhancements are a needed next step, according to Rick Hall, Director of Commercial and Enterprise Payments atMercator Advisory Group. As commercial card programs have become moreubiquitous, there are increasing demands from corporates using Commercial,Purchasing and One Card programs. Platforms must be more flexible andprovide intuitive, customizable, mobile management tools.”

“Today’s announcement is a sign that TSYS isfocused on enhancing CentreSuite and is listening to issuers and programadminstrators. A commitment to greater investment in the commercial cardcategory is generally needed. The timing and robustness of the remainingelements of this multi-stage transformation will determine the final verdict, but this is a start.”
