ZipLine announced yesterday that enrollments on its payment and loyalty platform grew over 55% in 2019, reflecting rising consumer demand for personalized rewards and debit payment on a single card or app.

ZipLine processes over six million transactions a month for clients including convenience retailers such as Speedway, 7-Eleven, Irving and Circle K, saving operators over $50 million last year in ‘swipe fees’ from Visa, MasterCard and others. Supermarkets Giant Eagle and Big Y are also ZipLine clients.

“Our strong growth reflects the success of a unique business model. Instead of offering technology alone, we support merchants in considering the entire guest experience,” said Kristen Bailey, ZipLine’s Chief Marketing Officer. “We bring full support in the form of marketing strategy, in-house campaign design and production, and data insights that inform the right offers at the right time. This hands-on approach is a winning strategy for merchants and is translating into record enrollments and loyal consumers.”

These services include:

  • Consumer engagement – brand strategy, logo and naming concepts, campaign launches, employee training, and promotions that include sweeps and social.
  • Creative services – full service, in-house design and production of custom campaign materials, such as point-of-purchase signage, email marketing and social.
  • Business intelligence – data tracking and analysis that provides a clear understanding of your consumer behavior to inform promotions, merchandizing and personalized rewards.

“Our very strong enrollment growth continues in 2020, as we keep our focus on product innovation, merchant support and expansion into new markets,” added Kristen.
