As major payment networks expand beyond traditional card processing, banks and fintech providers are facing a new wave of competition and collaboration opportunities. Initiatives such as Visa Next and Mastercard Vyze are designed to help financial institutions rapidly deploy modern payment platforms using open APIs and customizable digital services.
