Based on the evolving industry landscape and changing consumer expectations surrounding bank technology, Computer Services, Inc., a provider of end-to-end financial technology solutions, has unveiled a new version of its digital banking platform to deliver financial institutions a more unified omnichannel experience.
As part of the company’s expansion of its existing digital banking suite, CSI has created a more robust technology platform that enables each solution to integrate seamlessly with CSI’s NuPoint and Meridian core systems. By running its entire digital banking suite on the same technology platform, CSI enables banks to assign a single administrator to manage all digital banking solutions provided by the company.
“Research has shown that a large portion of today’s consumers want to conduct business through a combination of channels and devices,” said Shane Ferrell, director of digital banking for CSI. “By building an integrated platform for our full digital banking suite, we can better control the road map for each solution and ensure the financial institutions and consumers we interact with have a smooth and appealing omnichannel experience.”
The importance of digital banking as part of an expanded omnichannel banking deployment is becoming evident for an increasing number of FIs. Not only are online and mobile banking capabilities constantly expanding, but the role of branches is evolving to the point where digital banking is being used in place of branch visits for many banking customers. This evolution is prompting much attention – and innovation – in new digital banking products and solutions at progressive institutions.
